Worst experience I have ever had. Went in to the after hours clinic because my small baby was in pain. They forgot to fill her prescription and then closed for the night so she was in pain all night and day the next morning. We called relentlessly and the nurse practitioner had not even put her in the system so they took forever to get her prescription in. I will NEVER be back. My poor baby suffered because of them.
Super inefficient. I waited for two hours and in that time they called one patient back and I saw three leave. I finally walked out and didn't get seen, even though I was told there were two people in front of me, because I already Wasted two hours of my life and didn't want to waste another 2-4 hours.
The second time was November 8, 2017. I suspected I needed a referral to a dermatologist but went in to see if an FNP or GP agreed. Perhaps I could avoid a specialist or at least document, for insurance purposes, that I had tried something less costly first. The woman who took me back and checked my vitals wasn’t rude, she just made it very clear that she wasn’t happy to be there and wasn’t interested in niceties. Why bother with treating sick or suffering people who are paying through the nose with anything other than contempt? After a short wait a young woman came in and introduced herself as “one of the providers.” Within less than a minute, without examining the area of concern, she had rolled her eyes and talked to me like I was a mentally handicapped kindergartener. I asked if she was an MD, RN, FNP, or if there was someone there qualified to handle my concern. She didn’t answer and I finally said I saw no need for her to look at it since she wasn’t interested in providing me with services, and I left. The Provider was disrespectful and flat out condescending. There wasn’t even any pretense of her wanting to treat me as a patient. I am filing a complaint with HC and making my insurance company aware that any claim they receive for services provided today is fraudulent. After checking the website I now know that the “Provider” I encountered was Nikki Holton, CNP.
Took an hour to come back and see me
Great health care providers, they are affiliates with Hattiesburg clinic. This is much more convenient if you live close by and you can be referred out to any other specialist in Hattiesburg clinic if needed. The doctors are very attentive and thorough. They take walk-in and have walk-in clinics late and on the weekends.
I have been seen at this clinic twice since it opened. The first time was in the summer of 2017 for strep throat. The staff were all professional and courteous and I was seen quickly by an MD. I was treated well and left in a reasonable time with a diagnosis and a prescription.
